What is order picking

Order picking refers to the process of collecting individual products from within a warehouse or fulfilment centre, bringing the products together to make up an order to then prepare them for packing and shipping out to your customers or retailers.

Fulfilment Centre have a team of dedicated order picking staff, we have developed using the latest handheld warehouse devices a system to accurately pick your ecommerce and online orders to within virtually 100% accuracy.
Using a two step scan of the products, the days of mis-picking and sending the wrong products to your customers is almost eliminated.

Our 3pl warehouse storage facility has been designed and laid out, to ensure efficient picking of your orders in a logical manner, reducing time to pick your orders this reduces costs, ultimately meaning we can offer a better value and more affordable fulfilment service to our customers.

Our order picking process is the first physical stage of the fulfilment process once we have received your order, as soon as the order has been received and checked to be fulfillable, our warehouse team are made aware of the order and the products that are required to fulfill that order, they then whizz into action to locate the correct products, scanning them in to ensure the product matches the item on the order, as well as the location in our fulfilment centre where we have allocated that product, once picked for an order, the products are then scanned to the packing station to be prepared for the next stage.
